Slots and shortcuts
What a slot is and how the modifier keys reach them.
What a slot holds
A slot is a folder containing a scene file saved in the version set by Settings › Copy & Paste › Max Save Version, a preview image and a metadata file (object names, author, time, comment, lock state).
Local slots are stored in %TEMP%\ES_CopyPaste_Local; remote slots in each network target's folder.
The keys
The modifier keys held when Copy or Paste is pressed select the slot:

| Slot 6 | Ctrl + Alt |
| Slot 7 | Shift + Alt |

Locks
A locked slot is protected from overwriting and Clear Cache. Lock from the browser. Locks on shared slots apply to all users.
Clearing
Clear Local Cache and Clear Remote Cache in Settings delete all unlocked slots of that kind. Deleted and overwritten slots cannot be restored.
