Network targets
Give each person a folder on a share and the slots become shared across the team.
Settings › Network
| Network Targets | The list: a name and a folder for each. + adds one; double-click edits; the row's button removes it. A UNC path (\\server\share\anna) or a mapped drive; anything every machine can reach by the same path. |
| Active Target | Whose slots Paste Remote reads and whose row the keys reach. The Change Target button on the toolbar steps through the list (Shift steps back); clicking a name on the HUD picks it too. |
Textures Pipeline
| Collect & Send Textures | The bitmaps of the copied materials are gathered and written into the slot beside the scene file, so a colleague on another machine gets the maps with the objects instead of paths that lead nowhere. |
| Pull Textures to Local | When pasting from someone else's slot, the bundled bitmaps are copied into a local folder and the materials repathed to it. The folder is Local Texture Import Folder, or the current project's folder when that is left empty. |
Send to Target
From the browser, Send to Target… copies any slot, yours or someone else's, into another person's first free slot. It is for handing one thing to one person without making it your own remote copy.
