Privacy
What this site collects, who gets it, and how to say no.
Who runs the site
immersiveviz.com is run by Eugene, who makes the 3ds Max plugins sold here. Questions about your data go to contact@immersiveviz.com.
What is collected
The site has no accounts, no forms and no database. It stores nothing about you on its own servers.
- Advertising: the Meta Pixel, by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It tells us which of our ads bring people to the site, which product pages they look at and whether they go on to buy. Meta receives your IP address, your browser's details, the pages you visit here and an identifier stored in a cookie. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs only after you accept it; elsewhere it runs unless you turn it off. See Meta's privacy policy.
- Your cookie choice, kept in your browser's storage so you are not asked again. It never leaves your browser.
- Your country, looked up by Cloudflare from your IP address on each visit, to show prices in your currency and to decide whether to ask about cookies. It is not stored.
- Server logs kept by Cloudflare, which hosts the site, for its own security and operation: Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Purchases
Buying a plugin takes you to Gumroad, which handles the payment, your e-mail address and the licence key under its own privacy policy. Gumroad tells us what was bought and the address to send updates to; we use it for that and for support, and nothing else.
Legal basis
The Meta Pixel runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Prices in your currency and the server logs rest on the site's legitimate interest in working properly.
Your choices and rights
Change your mind about cookies at any time under Cookie settings, at the foot of every page. You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to contact@immersiveviz.com. In the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
